My wife and I moved to Western CT from Boston. We used Alvarez Masonry to refinish our yard. They removed stumps, trees and an old barn foundation that covered the side yard. Once removed the area was resurfaced and seeded giving us the yard we were looking for. My property looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. We hired Alvarez Masonry to redo our cinderblock chimney (for our furnace). It required taking down the old, cracked one and then putting up an entirely new one from scratch. The company was extremely responsive and communicated the job parameters and timing clearly. They were also able to get someone out to us within a week, and offered to come even sooner! The crew worked hard and did a careful, thorough job, cutting each cinderblock to the exact right size and making sure it all looked good. Best of all, they did all this within the cost estimate we were given, which was a very fair price. Super happy with this company and would absolutely recommend to anyone for any masonry needs!

Was down a few houses from where the Alvarez Masonry team was working to pick up a big, heavy box carrying a Christmas tree that my friend had purchased online when I realized there was no way I would've been able to haul it into my car on my own. The seller was not home and unable to assist. Thinking on my feet, I asked one of the workers nearby if they could give me a hand. After obtaining several estimates for some masonry work I choose Pedro. I had a good feeling... but one can never be sure until the work begins and ends. I am happy to report that Alvarez Masonry & Landscaping was the right choice. Pedro and his team constructed a beautiful 165' wall along our driveway, no muss, no fuss and completed as agreed. Because they were so professional and easy to work with we had them back for some spring cleanup and landscaping. Once again the job was completed as agreed, with pride. Alvarez Masonry does phenomenal work. I hired them to finish a partially completed bluestone and brick patio (foundation done and some stone and brick laid) and they came within days, quoted me a very reasonable price, and did an amazing job. Pedro and his team are extremely skilled and knowledgeable, and fixed existing problems with the partially done patio to ensure that it was level, squared, and looked outstanding. We hired Alvarez Landscaping and Masonry to install our pool patio and retaining wall. Pedro and his team of expert hard workers did a tremendous job as always.
